Dr. Moore was born in Michigan and grew up in Shelbyville, Indiana. He went to Purdue University in Indianapolis and received a degree in biology. He later attended Indiana University School of Medicine where he received his doctorate in medicine. He continued on to complete residency training in internal medicine at Indiana University. He moved to Columbus, Ohio to complete his fellowship training in gastroenterology at The Ohio State University. After completing fellowship training he went on to do advanced endoscopy training at The University of North Carolina. He learned both EUS and ERCP at the University of North Carolina as well as other highly advanced endoscopic techniques such as endoscopic necrosectomy as well as internal gallbladder and biliary drainage.
As a gastroenterologist with advanced endoscopy training, Dr. Moore’s areas of interest include pancreatic cysts, acute and chronic pancreatitis, autoimmune pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, benign biliary strictures, cholangiocarcinoma, ampullary adenoma and large colon polyp resection.
Dr. Moore sees patients at both the east and north office locations. Dr. Moore is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
In his free time he enjoys running, biking and mastering the art of glassblowing.
