Tracy Hammond, women's health nurse practitioner, joined County Line Medical Pavilion after serving for over 12 years as a maternity nurse at Community Hospital South. Tracy received her bachelor of science in Nursing from IUPUI and her master of science in nursing from the University of Indianapolis.
Tracy’s journey into women’s healthcare was not planned, as she intended to be a NICU or pediatric nurse. But then she witnessed her first delivery and was transfixed by the miracle happening in front of her. Twelve years of maternity nursing have had a lasting mark on her; she has developed a passion for serving women across all stages of life, with a focus on developing lasting connections with her patients.
As a busy mom of three rambunctious boys, Tracy can relate to the many unique challenges facing women. Together with her husband, they enjoy showing their young boys the wonders of this world, whether found in their backyard, on a mountain, or (preferably!) at a beach. She is active in her church, enjoys reading, crafting, baking, and planning the next family vacation.
