Dr. Carrie Johnston is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases. She completed her internal medicine residency, chief resident year, and infectious diseases fellowship training at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian. She has completed a Master’s Degree in Clinical and Translational Science and participated in graduate-level Immunology coursework as part of this training.The goals of her work are to investigate the pathophysiology of inflammation, cellular stress in the process of aging and cognitive dysfunction in older adults with HIV, ultimately to improve health and healthy aging in this population.
