Kathleen Maxfield
Kathleen Maxfield, MD is a board certified, fellowship trained vascular surgeon. She is a graduate of University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at University of New Mexico Hospital - School of Medicine. She completed her fellowship in vascular surgery at Vanderbilt University – Department of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. Prior to her medical studies, Dr. Maxfield earned a Master of Arts in Anthropology at the University of Wyoming Department of Anthropology and holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology. Dr. Maxfield is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a registered physician in vascular interpretation. Prior to joining Nuvance Health Danbury Vascular Specialists, she worked at in New Hampshire and Montana. She enjoy the long term relationship that she develops with her patients and working with them collaboratively to develop the best treatment plan for each individual patient.
