Dr Fothergill earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and completed his residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple. He has received the Outstanding Clinical Teaching Faculty award and is currently on the Education Coordinating Committee and the interview committee for incoming resident candidates. Dr Fothergill has completed many research projects and is a member of the Texas Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, American Medical Association, Alpha Omega Alpha and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics. Dr Fothergill and his wife, Cassie, and their two children enjoy activities outdoors. His hobbies include sports and music.
