Matthew Dixon, MD, FACS, FSSO, is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, who is board-certified in both general surgery and complex general surgical oncology. He specializes in complex surgeries to manage both cancerous and non-cancerous conditions that affect the liver, pancreas and bile ducts. These include conditions such as liver cancer, metastatic tumors of the liver, pancreas cancer, pancreatic cysts, neuroendocrine tumors and bile duct cancer. As part of a multidisciplinary cancer care team, Dixon works closely with his colleagues to provide excellent, individualized care to each of his patients.
