As an undergraduate student in microbiology, he had a mentor who was diagnosed with colon cancer. Through the course of his battle, Dr Schussler learned much about colon cancer and preventable disease. He values the opportunity to help people live better. Today Dr Schussler focuses on general gastroenterology, diagnosing and treating problems of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and liver. He performs endoscopy, colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy.
