Dr. Dominic Moore received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate, completed his Pediatric residency at Phoenix Children´s Hospital, served as Pediatric Chief Resident at Phoenix Children`s for one year and completed Palliative Medicine Fellowship at San Diego Hospice/Scripps Mercy. He is a member of the Gold Humanism honor society and has been recognized for his teaching, service, and leadership. Dr. Moore is board-certifed in Pediatrics and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Moore is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah in the Division of Pediatric Inpatient Medicine. He is the medical director of Pediatric Palliative Care, which includes the Rainbow Kids Palliative Care team and the Supportive Oncology for Adolescents and Pediatrics (SOAP) team. His specific clinical/research interests include communicating effectively with parents, responsible opioid prescribing, and the role that spirituality plays in healthcare interactions. Dr. Moore enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors and writing/recording music.
