Dr. Matthew Steimle received his medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Wayne State University, and his Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the Georgia Regents. He then completed a second fellowship in Emergency Ultrasound also at Georgia Regents and worked as a member of the Medical College of Georgia faculty for two years before joining the University. Dr. Steimle is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Utah and is in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) at Primary Children´s Hospital. He is currently the PEM Ultrasound Medical Director. His specific clinical interests include: clinical teaching, pediatric emergency ultrasound, trauma, and critical care. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine
