Dr. Ligia Onofrei is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the University of Utah, in the Neuromuscular division. She completed her Neurology residency training as well as her Neuromuscular training at the University of Utah. In addition to the treatment and evaluation of neuromuscular disorders, Dr. Onofrei has a special interest in degenerative spine disorders. She also has a particular interest in teaching, participating in a wide range of activities including lectures and curriculum development for medical students, physician assistant students, and residents.
