J. Kazam

J. Jacob Kazam is Assistant Professor of radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine, serving as Chief of Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist and Vice Chairman in the department of radiology at Weill Cornell medicine. 
 
After graduating Albert Einstein Medical College in 2010, Dr. Kazam completed radiology residency at Weill Cornell Medical College in 2015, where he served as chief resident, and musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at NYU in 2016. He was recruited to join faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in 2016, where he served as Section Chief for Emergency and Musculoskeletal imaging from 2016 through 2021, as well as Vice Chairman for Clinical Operations from 2019 through 2021. 
 
Dr. Kazam’s clinical interests include musculoskeletal imaging, especially dynamic ultrasound and ultrasound guided injections, as well as trauma and imaging of acute medical conditions. At Weill Cornell he has worked to optimize radiology workflows through implementation of support staff and new technologies and was instrumental in expansion of off-hours subspeciality coverage and teleradiology.
 
As Chief of Radiology at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist hospital, Dr. Kazam oversees outpatient diagnostic practices at both the Center for Community Health, and the Brooklyn Methodist main campus, where our patients have access to advanced, top-of-the-line imaging services, exceptional diagnostic radiology expertise, as well as inpatient radiology, emergency radiology, and the full spectrum of interventional radiology services.
