Dr. Kim joined Reston Ear, Nose and Throat in the summer of 2011 after relocating from her hometown in Columbia, Maryland. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Hearing and Speech Sciences, summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland in College Park. She earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her residency year at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Kim is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and was awarded the James Jerger Excellence in Research Award by the Academy for her doctoral research project. She is also a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association with which she holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology, and a licensed audiologist in Virginia. Her clinical interests are in pediatric, adult, and geriatric diagnostics as well as hearing aid dispensing. Dr. Kim is dedicated to providing the latest advancements in hearing aid technology and the highest standard of care to her patients.
