My passion for medicine stems from a deep-rooted desire to care for my community while using my aptitude and skill in science and art. General Surgery is a powerful combination of direct patient care, problem solving, technical skill, and timely intervention. Every patient is different from the last, and the field of surgery gives opportunity for daily exploration and learning. Additionally, performing operations is both rewarding for my patients and for me. I am married with two children, with family in Tennessee and North Carolina. I enjoy SEC football, traveling, herb gardening, yoga and my kids. I look forward to addressing your general surgery needs.
