Managing heart failure takes a village. That is why it is incredibly important to engage family members and caregivers. In my role, I ensure everyone not only understands the treatment plan, but also that they’re comfortable with that plan and they have the help they need. My care is comprehensive and patient-centered. I clearly and compassionately explain their conditions, treatment options and how they can live with those conditions. At the end of the day, I want to help my patients and their loved ones enjoy a good quality of life. I want to see patients experiencing fewer symptoms and more energy. I truly care about them. Forming long-lasting relationships with patients and their support systems is the most rewarding part of my job.
