Katarina Leckova, MD, is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist at Goshen Center for Cancer Care. Dr Leckova diagnoses and treats all types of cancer and has a special interest in treating patients with blood diseases and cancers, such as leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma.
Dr Leckova performs bone marrow aspiration and biopsies to examine the health of tissue inside bones where the body produces blood cells. She also delivers chemotherapy directly into the fluid around the brain and spinal cord, a procedure called intrathecal chemotherapy.
Three children keep Dr Leckova on the move when she is away from patient care. She and her family share a love of horses.
