As a child, Dr Samia Kanooz was intrigued by human physiology. She became a doctor in her native country of Pakistan and practiced there for 18 years before coming to the United States to be with family members who had moved here. After serving another residency at Marshall University in West Virginia, she practiced 11 years with a health system in southeastern Ohio. She also served as clinical assistant professor at an Ohio medical school. Dr Kanooz sees adults for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses.
