Dr. Steffanie Wright is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. Originally from Southern California, she received her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University of Southern California. She received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. During medical school, she moved to New Orleans to complete her Master of Public Health degree from Tulane University. It was there that she discovered her passion for global health and international development. She subsequently returned to her alma matter to complete her residency training at the University of Southern California, the largest safety-net hospital in Los Angeles County. During residency, she served as Administrative Chief Resident. After graduation, she went on to complete her fellowship training in Complex Family Planning at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
