NO LONGER ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS Elizabeth Smith, MD completed her medical school training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She recently returned to University of Utah School of Medicine, where she completed her pediatrics residency, after spending several years working for the University Community Clinics in Stansbury Park, UT. She is now part of the Division of General Pediatrics. Dr. Smith sees patients at the University Pediatric Clinic (Clinic 6) at the University Hospital. Her clinical interests include well child care, adolescent health care, educating families and maximizing mental health care in the primary care setting. She has assisted with the transition of the Division of General Pediatrics to the EpicCare electronic medical record. She continues to work with the EpicCare team to develop templates and complete quality improvement within the EMR. Her academic interests are primarily in medical student and resident education and works with the third year medical student clerkship teaching outpatient pediatric topics. Dr. Smith"s outside hobbies include running, reading, cooking, and spending time with her family. Dr. Smith speaks some medical Spanish and some French.
