David Carlson
David Chaulk, MD, MPH, spent ten years as an attending Pediatric Emergency physician at Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary, Canada, prior to joining the Emergency Department team at Primary Children’s Hospital. He also served an administrative role as the Facility Medical Director. David is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Utah School of Medicine. His clinical interests include patient safety, quality improvement, care delivery for underserved populations, and international healthcare. Academically, David’s interests include organizational leadership, change management, quality improvement and healthcare delivery. Dr. Chaulk is Canadian board-certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine (FRCPC) and is board-eligible in the US. He is also a Certified Canadian Physician Executive (CCPE).
