Dr. Miriam Samstein received her MD, PhD from the Tri-Institutional program at Weill Cornell Medical College. She completed her pediatric residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she also completed a fellowship in allergy immunology. As part of her training, Dr. Samstein has performed both basic science research as well as patient centered research into the delivery of care.Dr. Samstein is board certified in Pediatrics as well as Allergy Immunology. She splits her time between caring for newborns and performing clinical and quality improvement research. Her professional interests include anaphylaxis and improvement of epinephrine autoinjector training for parents as well as drug allergy.
