Dr. May is a Pediatric Cardiology faculty member at the University of Utah as an assistant professor on the clinical track. She provides inpatient and outpatient care in pediatric heart failure and transplantation as well as general pediatric cardiology care. Dr. May completed her medical degree at University of Calgary School of Medicine in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She completed her pediatrics residency in Calgary. At Stanford University, Dr. May completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship and went on to complete a fourth year of subspecialized training in pediatric heart failure and transplantation also at Stanford. Dr. May´s clinical interests include mechanical support in children with advanced heart failure, as well as re-transplantation, and the anticoagulation management of pediatric cardiac patients. She helps oversee the Ventricular Assist Device program at Primary Children"s as well as the outpatient anticoagulation care of Heart Center patients.
