Dr Milete Klinkerman grew up in O’Donnell, Texas, a small farming community in west Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas Tech University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition. She worked as a dietician for 3 years before pursuing her optometry degree. In 1997, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry where she was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, received the Letter of Excellence in Primary Care Optometry, and the Bausch & Lomb Award for Excellence in Contact Lens Induced Pathology.
