When you have an interest in engineering and a fascination with technology, as I do, a career in medicine — and especially radiation oncology — can be the perfect blend. Especially since I believe that the human body is the quintessential example of perfect engineering. My training in radiation oncology not only focuses on life-saving technology, but in problem-solving. And I believe that when I share with my patients as much information as possible, they will have the tools necessary to make the best choices for their health and healing. They are empowered to help themselves. Before I meet with my patients, I review their medical records and imaging.
