Sarah Kureshi, MD, is a graduate of the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and the Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her Family Medicine residency at UCSF and a Fellowship in Community Health Leadership Development at Georgetown. Dr Kureshi serves as Course Director of the Doctoring Selective and Co-Director of the Patients, Populations & Policy course. She advises the Family Medicine Student Interest Group, precepts students at HOYA Clinic—a student-driven free clinic—and works on health issues impacting Muslim communities. Her professional interests include preventive medicine, health disparities, health and human rights, gender-based violence, and refugee/immigrant health. She is fluent in Urdu and Hindi.
