Dr Ulmer grew up seeing the joy her family of care givers got from helping others and always knew she wanted to have the same opportunities. As a Kalamazoo native, Dr Ulmer is carrying on the family legacy and working in the family medicine practice her father once helped to start. She chose to work in this field because family medicine gives her the opportunity to work with people in all walks of life and finds herself lucky to be able to help her patients find ways to grow healthier, finding their best life. In her free time Dr Ulmer is an active member if Moms Demand Action – gun safety awareness, coaches her son’s soccer team and worked for her towns board of public health.
