John Cardella, MD

John T Cardella, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiology, and the program director for the new Interventional Radiology Residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Dr Cardella is dual board certified in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology. After obtaining his undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr Cardella came to Georgetown University for medical school where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the University of North Carolina and served as the Chief Resident before completing his training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Virginia.
