Neel P Chudgar, MD, is Associate Director of Clinical and Translational Research, Thoracic Surgery, and an Attending Physician at Montefiore. He is also an Assistant Professor of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Chudgar received his Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in 2008 and earned his Doctor of Medicine from Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University in 2012. His postdoctoral training began with a General Surgery residency at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center. From 2014 to 2016, he was a research fellow with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
