Dr. Anthony Choi is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Center for Liver Disease and Transplantation. After receiving his B.S. from Brown University and M.D. from Weill Cornell Medical College, he completed his medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Choi completed his advanced fellowship training in Transplant Hepatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, where he was chief hepatology fellow. He specializes in the management of patients with liver diseases including autoimmune liver disease, viral hepatitis B and C, fatty liver disease, metabolic liver disease, and liver cancers. He sees patients with end-stage liver disease (cirrhosis) and evaluates those who need liver transplantation. He provides medical care to patients before and after liver transplantation. He has a special interest in the care of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
