About
Since joining UofL, she has developed a clinical program for youth with type 2 diabetes and has participated in multiple research studies aimed at improving outcomes for youth with diabetes. She is also a Principle Investigator for the Kentucky Pediatric IDeA Research Center, part of the NIH funded IDeA States Pediatric Clinical Trials Network. This multi-center network aims to bring opportunities to participate in state-of-the-art pediatric clinical trials to rural and underserved youth.
Sara Watson
Sara E. Watson, MD, MS joined the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology at the University of Louisville in July 2014. Dr. Watson completed a pediatric residency at the University of Louisville and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Indiana University. She also received a master’s degree in clinical research while at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.Since joining UofL, she has developed a clinical program for youth with type 2 diabetes and has participated in multiple research studies aimed at improving outcomes for youth with diabetes.
