Martha started her healthcare journey as a nurse in 1993. After completing her Master of Science in Nursing at University of Texas in Austin in 2001, she began practicing as a family nurse practitioner in rural health in Elgin, then in Bastrop, before moving to the Austin/Lakeway area. Her passion for rural health care has now brought her to BSW - San Saba. Martha is bilingual and proficient in multiple procedures required for practicing in a rural health clinic including suturing, internal medicine, diabetes management, geriatric care and general family health. Martha is ecstatic to be back in a rural health care clinic, and she is looking forward to becoming part of the loving community in San Saba.
