Dr Keith Melancon is a general surgeon at The GW Medical Faculty Associates and a professor of surgery at The George Washington University School of Health and Sciences. Dr Melancon received his medical degree from Tulane Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Tulane Medical Center. He then completed a transplant surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota. Prior to moving to Washington D.C. Dr Melancon was the director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation at Johns Hopkins University Hospital. He most recently was the director of Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation at Georgetown University Hospital, Washington Hospital Center, and Children's National Medical Center.
