Fayez Estephan, MD

Fayez Estephan, MD, joined as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Oncology at the George Washington School of Medicine and Health Sciences and GW Cancer Center.  Dr Estephan was awarded his Medical Degree from Damascus University Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine from MedStar Health System in Baltimore, Maryland. After practicing as an attending in Hospital Medicine, Dr Estephan completed a three-year fellowship training in Hematology & Oncology from George Washington University (GW).   Prior to his Internal Medicine Residency, Dr Estephan worked as a post-doctoral research fellow at the Cleveland Clinic in a lab focused on malignant blood disorders.
