Prior to that, Dr. Hussein completed his internal medicine residency at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ, in 2019. His diverse medical background also includes a fellowship in cardiovascular surgery at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston and a fellowship in acute burn and burn reconstructive surgery at UTMB-Galveston. He began his medical career as a general surgery resident in Amman, Jordan, in 2009.
