Stephen Grabelsky, M.D., is a hematologist and medical oncologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Grabelsky has a special interest in treating gastrointestinal and gynecologic cancer.
Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute in 1996, Dr. Grabelsky was on staff at the JFK Medical Center Comprehensive Cancer Institute. He’s currently a clinical affiliate associate professor at Florida Atlantic University.
Dr. Grabelsky was inspired to become a physician after his mother was diagnosed with breast cancer while he was in high school. Hisapproach to patient care is to look at the situation from the perspective of his patient and their family, not only as a purveyor of medical information. When appropriate, Dr. Grabelsky encourages his patients to participate in clinical trials, which offer the latest treatment approaches. He serves as a principal investigator and sub-investigator on several clinical trials.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Grabelsky enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
