I was raised in a military family, my father served 25 years in the United States Air Force and as many military families do, we moved state to state and country to country. For most of my childhood and young adulthood, I lived in California, I attended California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo for my undergrad education. I attended medical school in the Caribbean at Ross University before relocating to Illinois where I completed residency and cardiology fellowship. Interventional Cardiology fellowship was completed in Connecticut before returning to Illinois and Indiana where I practiced Internal Medicine and Cardiology for 5 years.
