Carlos Figueroa Castro, MD

Dr Figueroa Castro joined the Department of Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases, at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Assistant Professor in December 2013. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Universidad El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia in 1998. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, and then completed fellowship in infectious diseases at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. Dr Figueroa Castro’s clinical practice includes the care of adults with a multitude of infectious conditions, including but not limited to skin infections, endocarditis, osteomyelitis, prosthetic joint infections, and atypical Mycobacterium infection.
