Dr Mary Beth Phelan is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Director of Ultrasound Education in the Department of Emergency Medicine and an affiliate faculty member of the Injury Research Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr Phelan's areas of interest include the health consequences of intimate partner violence, injury prevention, and intimate partner violence education for health care providers, as well as the advancement of emergency ultrasound education. Dr Phelan has completed an emergency medicine fellowship. She has contributed to the advancement of emergency ultrasound education through workshops, presentations, lectures, and peer-reviewed journal publications.
