I grew up in central Ohio before attending Huntington University in Indiana. As an undergraduate, I first gained my interest in medicine and surgery while volunteering on international mission projects in Myanmar, Thailand, Dominican Republic, and Haiti. I returned to Columbus and completed medical school at the Ohio State University and my surgical residency at Mount Carmel Medical Center. I moved to Wisconsin in 2008 after completing my training. Here, I sought to develop a broad general surgery practice to serve both the local community as well as patients abroad. I enjoy caring for a wide variety of patients, treating a wide array of conditions, and collaborating with the community of clinicians in the Froedtert Northeast Medical Group.
