Alexander Gallan, MD

Dr Gallan serves as the primary renal pathologist for the Medical College of Wisconsin and is part of the genitourinary pathology team. His major areas of academic interest include the role of complement in kidney diseases including thrombotic microangiopathy, the pathogenesis of glomerular diseases, pathologic markers of renal transplant rejection, and the correlation of pathologic and molecular findings in kidney cancer. Dr Gallan is also passionate about teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. As a pathologist, you may never meet me in person, but I am working hard behind the scenes to provide you with the same high quality and thoughtful care that I would my own family.
