Dr Hayes is a Family and Addiction Medicine physician with a strong interest in caring for medically underserved communities. Dr Hayes practices comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and obstetrics care. Dr Hayes’ main clinical focus has been providing comprehensive medical care for patients living with substance use disorders and complex chronic pain. Dr Hayes serves a Director of Family Medicine Medical Student Education at the Medical College of Wisconsin and is leading a major clinical education curriculum reform effort at MCW. Dr Hayes is also currently residency faculty at the Froedtert Southside Family Medicine Residency where he leads addiction medicine curriculum and patient services.
