Dr Provost has practiced bariatric surgery for over 20 years, performing the first laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass in Texas in April 1999. He is chief of the section of bariatric and general surgery at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple in Temple, TX. Dr Provost is active in surgeon education and training in laparoscopic gastric bypass, adjustable gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy and revisions and complications.
