Dr Kumar is a fellowship-trained and board-certified interventional pulmonologist with expertise in a wide range of minimally invasive pulmonary procedures. He has a particular focus on lung cancer diagnostic and procedural interventions, bronchoscopic lung volume reduction (BLVR) for COPD, ultrasound-guided pulmonary procedures, and both benign and malignant pleural diseases. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Kumar serves as the medical director of interventional pulmonology at Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health. When his busy schedule allows, Dr Kumar enjoys playing badminton, table tennis, pool, swimming, watching movies or sports, traveling, and spending quality time with his family and friends.
