Dr Wall is board-certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Medicine with fellowship training in abdominal transplant surgery. She has clinical interests in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, as well as living liver and kidney donation. Her medical training began at Saint Louis University School of Medicine where she also received a PhD in Health Care Ethics. She completed her general surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and her abdominal transplant surgery fellowship at Stanford University. Dr Wall's extensive research focuses on clinical ethical issues in surgical practice in general and transplantation, in particular, including how listing decisions are made and how organs are allocated.
