Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare: I'm passionate about working with children. After a 10-year career working as a school-based Speech Language Pathologist, I was ready for a big change. I love working closely with my families and providing one-on-one therapy sessions to meet my patients' and their families' needs. What I want my patients to know about me: I take a patient-drive approach. I follow my patient's lead and prefer a play-based approach. I firmly believe that learning cannot happen unless my patients trust and establish rapport with me. It is very important to me for my patient's parents to feel heard and respected.
