Kevin Nguyen
Dr. Nguyen, M.D., PhD, FACS, earned his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine of New York University. He completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. His fellowship in Hepatopancreaticobiliary (HPB) was completed at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Nguyen also holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians, Dr. Nguyen was in practice with the Department of Surgery, Division of HPB Surgery at the University of Michigan as Assistant Professor of Surgery. Dr. Nguyen has been practicing medicine for 10 years. He is board certified in general surgery and is a member of the American Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association.He is co-director of the Piedmont Pancreas Cancer Surgery Clinic. In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. Dr. Nguyen welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.Services
