She also offers restorative and rehabilitative treatment including crowns, teeth removal, pulls wisdom teeth, bridges, partials, dental implants placement, root canal, implant-supported dentures and endodontics, as well as cosmetic procedures such as veneers. As an emergency dentist, she can see patients with infections or broken or cracked teeth same day. Through a digital smile design, she shows patients a before and after of their smile.
Cutting edge technology and equipment is critical for her to offer next-level treatment. She purchased a Diode Laser to aid with periodontal work like gingivectomy with faster healing and less pain, opening up the scope of her treatment to be like a cosmetic dentist, endodontist or oral surgeon. And for the most precise diagnostics and outcomes, she invested in a 3D panoramic scanner and intraoral camera. Treatment takes place in five state-of-the-art operatories.
To set a tranquil ambiance, patients can kick back in the welcome lounge and enjoy gourmet coffees and cucumber- and lemon-infused mineral water.
After having her daughter Kambria, Dr. Kristina began to follow a more organic, chemical-free ethos, which led her to essential oils. She feels doTERRA essential oils have made an impact on her daughter’s health and brings them into the office via aromatherapy to help patients relax and stay calm.
As both a preventive and therapeutic measure, the pure, all-natural oils are antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal. She feels there are benefits to using essential oils such as tea tree, peppermint, eucalyptus and peppermint as mouthwash. It can reduce plaque-causing bacteria that can lead to cavities and bad breath, as well as reduce gum inflammation and irritation to promote healthier gums. Dr. Kristina grew up in Siberia, Russia with the dream of becoming a dentist. After she received her MBA in economics, she moved to the United States in 2006 and revisited the dream, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, then completing her General Practice Residency at University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center.
Today, since Russian is her first language, a large segment of her practice comes from the Russian community.
