My name is Rodney Edwards, MD, and I am a professor in the University of Florida Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. I currently hold the Harry Prystowsky Chair and am vice chair for research in the department. I am board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and maternal and fetal medicine. I received my bachelor's degree from Houston Christian (formerly Houston Baptist) University and my medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Following graduation, I moved to Gainesville and completed both my residency in obstetrics and gynecology and fellowship in maternal and fetal medicine at UF. During my fellowship, I completed a master's degree in clinical investigation.
