One of the best parts of my job is seeing the sense of awe patients have on their faces after a successful cataract surgery. Seeing how their vision and quality of life can improve is incredible. The best question I ever get is, "When can we do the other eye?" As a surgeon, I know I have the technical skills to perform complex ophthalmologic procedures. But my greatest attribute is making meaningful connections with my patients. I want every patient to leave my office knowing I am here to advocate for them and their health. I come from a family of eye doctors, including my grandfather and great-grandfather. They were both ophthalmologists from the Atlantic City area. Hearing how much of a difference they made in their patients' vision changed me and influenced my decision to go into the field. Guided by this legacy, I look forward to caring for patients in the Monadnock Region.
