My hobbies and the injuries they caused sparked my interest in orthopaedic surgery. As an active outdoorsman, triathlete and skier, I’ve seen my fair share of hip, knee and shoulder damage. I learned to work nimbly with my hands through my love of woodworking. Combined, those skills and experiences made orthopaedic surgery a perfect fit. While completing a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Kansas, I worked with high-performing athletic teams including the Kansas City Chiefs. Yet my practice today involves care of patients of all ages and skill levels. Every patient is like a family member to me. I want them to feel supported. We are a team. In that team, my role is to ease pain so my patients can get back to the activities they love. I address anything from hip and knee restorations to ligament reconstruction, shoulder instability, tendon repair and fractures so that together, we can get you well again!
