Bernardo Cortese, MD, FESC, FSCAI, is an internationally renowned interventional cardiologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of complex coronary artery disease and chronic total occlusions. He is Co-Director of the Coronary Center at University Hospitals Harrington Heart & Vascular Institute and Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Dr. Cortese has extensive experience in the management of patients with multivessel coronary artery disease, chronic total occlusion and cardiogenic shock. He continues to dedicate his career to the care of sick and fragile patients, as well as the development and optimization of innovative therapies in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
